Online Therapy for Adults and Couples in North Carolina
Therapy should help you understand what is happening, identify what needs to change, and decide what to do next. I provide thoughtful, direct support for individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, relationship concerns, major life changes, and patterns shaped by difficult experiences.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual Therapy for Adults in North Carolina
You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own. A relationship may be causing pain, a major change may have left you uncertain, or you may keep finding yourself in situations that are not working for you. You may not know exactly why this is happening—you only know that something needs to change.
In therapy, we will make sense of what you are experiencing, identify what is keeping you stuck, and work toward changes that are realistic in your everyday life. The goal is to help you make clearer decisions, develop healthier relationships, and move forward with a stronger sense of direction.

COUPLES THERAPY
Online Couples Therapy in North Carolina
You are tired of having the same fight. The subject may change—parenting, money, intimacy, trust, household responsibilities, or the mental load—but the pattern is familiar. One of you pushes to be heard, the other withdraws or becomes defensive, and neither of you feels understood.
I will help you slow that pattern down and see what is actually happening between you. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples speak more honestly, listen differently, repair trust, and rebuild connection. We will practice these changes in the context of the problems you are facing—not just talk about what you should do differently.

EMDR THERAPY
Online EMDR Therapy in North Carolina
You may know that the situation is over and still react as though it is happening now. You tense up, shut down, replay conversations, expect the worst, or respond more strongly than the present moment seems to call for. Understanding why you react this way has not necessarily changed the reaction.
EMDR can be used effectively through secure video sessions. We identify a specific memory, belief, or situation that continues to get activated, and I help you prepare before we begin processing it. During the session, you may follow a movement on your screen, use alternating sounds, or tap from side to side while noticing what comes up. You can do this work from a private, familiar space without losing the structure or guidance of EMDR.
You do not have to tell me every detail, and I will not push you into work you are not ready to do. The goal is not to erase what happened. It is to reduce the hold it has on you so you can respond to what is happening now instead of continuing to react from an earlier experience.

ADULT ASSESSMENTS
Online Adult ADHD and Autism Assessments in North Carolina
If you have spent years being told you are too much, too sensitive, too scattered, or not enough—and no one ever looked deeper—this assessment is designed to look deeper.
I use the Cherry Adult ADHD-Autism Diagnostic Interview (Cherry AADI), a structured diagnostic interview developed specifically for adults. It is designed to identify ADHD, autism, and co-occurring ADHD and autism (AuDHD) while accounting for masking, compensatory strategies, sensory differences, and life experience.
The assessment is culturally responsive and strengths-based. It focuses on understanding your neurological profile and the environments in which you function best—not reducing you to a list of deficits. You will receive a clear explanation of the findings and practical recommendations for what comes next.
The assessment also considers how race, culture, gender, masking, and learned coping strategies may shape how your experiences appear to others. This matters because ADHD and autistic traits can be overlooked or misunderstood, particularly in women, Black and Brown adults, and others whose experiences have not always matched traditional diagnostic expectations.
